PRIDE
The professor always sloved problems, and yet never really showed any interest toward either Ginger or Mary Ann (or any one else.) Nor was he able to get them off the island.

Mr. Howell obviously the picture of greed. His punishment was to placed where money had no value.

ENVY
Despite Mary Ann's important contributions to the group her envy of Ginger's glamor kept her in a self-imposed second fiddle role.

GLUTTONY
More than once it was Gilligan's appetite that got him in to trouble and even ruined the castaways chances to leave the island.

ANGER
The Skipper was constantly yelling and beating upon Gilligan. His obvious refusal to stay in port that day doomed the castaways to exile.

LUST
Ginger's use of sex to her advange makes her the icon of Lust. Her punishment is that none of the men on the island were neither available or worthy in her opinion.

SLOTH
Lovey Howell reprents Sloth because she really never actually did any heavy work and often surked her duties off to others.
